Looking for a beautiful space to host your next event? Whether you’re hosting birthday parties, baby or bridal showers, corporate events or small day retreats, we’ve got you covered! The Southern Zen™ is a relaxing oasis near downtown Charleston and the Ashley River. Conveniently located in the desired neighborhood of Avondale on a street lined with Live Oaks and Spanish moss.

With space for up to 45 guests, plenty of room for seating (with table add-on available), parking available, a full chef’s kitchen, and beautiful backdrops indoors and outside, this is the perfect place to host your next gathering.

Built in 1947, The Southern Zen™'s many windows allow for immense amounts of natural light, creating an open and airy feel throughout. The outdoor space is a Japanese inspired Zen garden including handmade natural water features, custom built seating, a custom built Japanese style foot bridge, and a fire pit option.
